The Basic Maintenance Checklis
This checklist can take between 20 and 45 minutes to complete.
- Check condition of filter
- Inspect blower motor for dirt build up
- Inspect control board, contactors, & relays
- Inspect door safety switches
- Inspect duct connection inside blower housing
- Check capacitor function & start components
- Inspect wiring connections & tighten
- Inspect bearings & lubricate parts
- Inspect flame sensor
- Inspect heat exchanger & burner ignition
- Inspect gas valve & main burners
- Inspect inducer fan motor & hose
